Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative or project support experience, including grants management and tracking reporting requirements.
• Ability to perform field observations and inspections under direction from County Engineer.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a County vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and project support to the County Engineer, including scheduling, correspondence, meeting coordination, document preparation, and follow-up on actions.
• Maintains organized records for engineering projects, contracts, permits, inspection reports, grant awards, and related correspondence.
• Prepares and processes purchase requests, invoices, and project expenditure records; coordinates with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Assists with budget preparation, cost summaries, bid documents, and contract records for Board consideration.
• Tracks project schedules, submittals, deliverables, and deadlines; alerts the County Engineer to approaching issues.
• Responds to routine inquiries from residents, contractors, developers, and other agencies; refers technical questions to County Engineer.
