• Two (2) years experience in civil construction, construction inspection, and/or land surveying.
• Municipal or government experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Must obtain MOT Certification within six (6) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects public and private construction to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Reviews right-of-way permits and coordinates with Development Review staff.
• Maintains inspection records and prepares related reports.
• Attends preconstruction meetings to explain inspection standards to stakeholders.
• Performs after-hour inspections as required and on-call duties.
