Job summary

City of Nampa Public Works is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to lead planning, design, and construction of major public works initiatives. The role reports to the Engineering Manager – Transportation and requires strong collaboration with city staff, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in construction contracts and PM, and proficiency with MS Project, AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in construction contracts and project management, public sector preferred.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard design/construction tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, budgets, and schedules for public works projects.
• Manage contracts with design professionals, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local codes on projects.
• Provide project contract and construction management for City projects.
