Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead public works projects in Texas, including Austin and San Antonio offices.

The role focuses on drainage, water and wastewater systems, and project leadership across the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a PE license or is eligible within six months, strong modeling skills (HEC tools, WaterGEMS/InfoWater), and a track record in business development and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Water Resources/Public Works.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience in business development and growing client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater or similar).
• Willingness to be in the Austin office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and design drainage, water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling.
• Lead project managers, engineers, and designers in project execution.
• Manage quality, schedule, and finances of projects.
• Grow relationships with existing clients and develop new business with new clients.
