Job summary

The role involves budgeting, policy implementation, and ensuring safety and compliance in all projects and operations across utilities and facilities.

Qualifications

• Pass accredited courses in construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and evaluate the work of Public Works Specialists.
• Assist and make recommendations to the Public Works Director regarding planning.
• Prepare and prioritize infrastructure repair and replacement needs.
• Advise subordinates on policies, work methods, and materials used.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and procedures for the Director.
• Recommend purchases of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Confer with the Public Works Director on projects.
• Ensure compliance with City policies and safety rules.
• Protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
