Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferred Associate's degree in civil engineering technology or related field.
• CDL within 12 months of employment and insurable driving record, plus required certifications within 12 months.
• One year of construction inspection, surveying, material testing, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect streets, curbs, and storm sewers; verify compliance with plans, specs, and good practices.
• Inspect sidewalks, driveways, and slope; verify dimensions and forms; note corrections to contractors.
• Assist with design reviews, prep daily inspection reports, measure quantities, and calculate pay estimates.
