Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Four years of progressively responsible professional civil engineering experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Utah Driver License; PE license within 12 months; RSI certification within 6 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, manages, and administers engineering functions for city infrastructure projects.
• Serves as project manager for capital improvement projects; coordinates with contractors and consultants.
• Reviews plans for private development per city standards; manages permits, escrows, and bond releases.
• Performs field reviews and ensures compliance with standards, regulations, and ordinances.
• Develops and maintains GIS/utility data; prepares reports and cost estimates for proposed projects.
