Job summary

The City of Napa is seeking a CIP Division Manager (Senior Civil Engineer) to lead the Engineering and CIP Team within the Public Works Department. You will supervise eleven engineers and paraprofessional staff and drive the City’s Five-Year Capital Improvement Program, funded through the General Fund and multiple revenue sources.

• Licensed Civil Engineer with public works leadership experience.
• Experience managing CIP programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIP and Engineering team of eleven staff within Public Works.
• Oversee the City’s Five-Year CIP with a budget of $15–$20 million annually.
• Collaborate with internal departments, outside agencies, and the community to align projects with City priorities.
• Mentor staff and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
