The City of Minneapolis Public Works is recruiting apprentices for a 6,000-hour full-time apprenticeship program. Apprentices will rotate across divisions, learn to operate a wide range of equipment, and must commit to completing the 6,000 hours before advancing to the Service Worker II role.

Entrance requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and successful completion of mandatory pre-employment testing and background checks.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of Public Works Service Worker I duties or equivalent labor.
• Valid Class B CDL with no air brake restrictions.
• Good driving record.
• Must complete Ramsay testing and pass.
• Current City of Minneapolis employee in Public Works.
• Background check and union requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Attend classroom training and complete workbook assignments with supervision.
