Kitsap County in Port Orchard, WA, is seeking a dedicated Fiscal Support Technician to support the Public Works Accounts Payable team. You will help maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and support daily cash handling, vendor payments, and reconciliations in a fast-paced municipal environment.

This role emphasizes initiative, accuracy, and teamwork, with responsibilities including PO management, data entry, mail handling, and collaboration with internal staff and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a fiscal office performing accounts payable, auditing, or related duties.
• Education may substitute for up to six months of experience.
• Experience with a computerized financial system is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and process purchase orders for Public Works with accurate cost tracking.
• Oversee invoice flow and ensure timely payment.
• Review and reconcile accounts receivable and handle daily data entry.
• Open, route, and manage incoming mail; prepare outgoing mailings.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and suppliers.
