Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Four years progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA/CPP/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of complex accounting, cost analysis, and reporting of funds and grants.
• Reviews and prepares cost reports for internal and external entities.
• Coordinates with external entities and supports audits of accounting data.
• Approves journal entries and payment transactions.
• Supervises accounting staff and delegates duties as needed.
• Maintains ledgers and financial reporting in compliance with regulations.
• Directs departments in preparing financial and statistical reports.
• Oversees grant funding documentation and budget monitoring.
• Supports utility and Public Works financial processes.
