Job summary

Resource Management Systems, Inc. (RMS) is seeking dependable drivers to provide public transportation to the local community in Thomasville, GA. This role supports safe passenger transport and requires a CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a valid driver’s license.

The position may be filled as full-time or part-time. Must pass DOT screenings, background check, and pre-employment physical. Experience in transportation or customer service is a plus, with growth opportunities and benefits

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Must hold a valid Standard Driver's License.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screening.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (DOT).
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for passenger transport.
• Transport clients to and from scheduled appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ensure passenger safety.
• Conduct vehicle inspections per company policy.
• Maintain accurate trip and mileage records.
• Communicate with dispatch and management as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professionalism.
