Job summary

Resource Management Systems, Inc. (RMS) seeks dependable Public Transit Drivers to provide safe transportation to the local community in Valdosta, GA. A valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement or a standard driver’s license is required, with a clean MVR.

This safety-sensitive position requires passing DOT screenings and routine training. Employment type includes full-time/part-time with competitive hourly pay and benefits eligibility, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement or a valid Standard Driver's License
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening (DOT)
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (DOT)
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with insurance requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for passenger transport
• Transport clients to and from scheduled appointments
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ensure passenger safety
• Conduct vehicle inspections as outlined in company policy
• Maintain accurate trip and mileage records
• Communicate with dispatch and management as needed
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professionalism
