Job summary

BVSCU is seeking an Events Coordinator to support marketing event planning and deliver compelling presentations at community and school events in Katy, TX. You will coordinate large and small gatherings, manage event logistics, and represent the Credit Union with diplomacy and professionalism.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, travel readiness, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Event planning or related public speaking experience preferred.
• A high school education or GED required.
• Ability to manage projects through to completion.
• Proficient with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for job related travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special events and ensure proper execution (Annual Meeting, parties, community events).
• Create and manage external Credit Union events (seminars, financial literacy, reality fairs).
• Maintain events inventory and related supplies.
