Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin and Peachtree Group are seeking a Public Area Attendant/Cleaner to maintain the hotel’s public spaces and assist with guest room needs. You will contribute to creating a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere in a brand-new downtown Austin hotel.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional guest experience as part of a hospitality-driven team. Training and opportunities in a dynamic downtown setting are provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other guest-facing areas.
• Clean and restock lobby restrooms, including mopping floors, dusting surfaces, replenishing paper products, and refilling soap dispensers.
• Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting with guest requests.
• Deliver towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities as needed.
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout the property.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain public spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Support housekeeping operations with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
