County of Lake is seeking a Staff Services Analyst I to provide essential departmental support through data collection, program analysis, and technical assistance on eligibility, employment, and staff matters. The role also involves analyzing legislation and coordinating staff training development as needed.

The position requires the ability to interpret regulations, develop training plans, and prepare major department reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined with supervisor experience may be substituted for the required education.
• One year of experience in a role requiring analysis, interpretation and/or implementation of complex rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs reviews and analysis of department operations, policies, and procedures.
• Analyzes the impact of legislation, rules and regulations on department functions and services.
• Conducts group and individual conferences to discuss or interpret rules, regulations, and policies.
• Determines the need for staff training and development on program and regulation implementation.
• Prepares and implements training programs on impacts and compliance with rules and regulations.
• Represents the department at meetings.
