Job summary

The Town of Haverhill is seeking a Public Services Coordinator / Code Enforcement Officer to oversee public services and enforce town codes. This full-time role reports to the Town Administrator and offers a starting salary range of $62,000 to $71,000 based on qualifications.

Qualifications

High school diploma and Florida driver’s license are required.
Associates degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
FACE certifications and Stormwater Inspector certification are preferred or required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Coordinate public services (Solid Waste, Emergency Preparedness, Local Mitigation Strategy, Floodplain Coordination).
Enforce compliance with Town Codes; investigate violations and issue notices.
Prepare cases for Special Magistrate; monitor fines and liens.
Perform field inspections and interpret technical provisions and directives.
Serve as liaison for infrastructure projects; coordinate with engineers and contractors; possible night/weekend work.
