Attendance for evening Commission meetings as required.
Working under the general direction of the Director of Planning & Community Development and administrative supervision of the Town Manager, the Assistant Town Planner / Code Enforcement Officer administers Plainville's land use programs—including zoning, wetlands, subdivision, and aquifer protection regulations. You will serve as a vital link between the public, property developers, and municipal boards while managing GIS mapping and coordinating our Sustainable CT initiatives.
Soft Skills: Exceptional oral/written communication skills, diplomatic problem-solving under public pressure, and strong organizational focus.
