Job summary

Sambatek, LLC is seeking a Client Service Manager to grow and lead our Public Services practice. This is an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven role for an experienced civil engineering professional who enjoys building strong client partnerships, pursuing new opportunities, and leading successful projects.

The Client Service Manager will help shape the growth of our public‑sector practice through business development, client engagement, team leadership, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Established relationships and a demonstrated network within the public‑sector transportation or municipal markets.
• Experience with business development and pursuit of new project opportunities.
• Proven ability to develop proposals, scopes of work, project budgets and other BD materials.
• Strong knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations for public‑sector projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop project teams.

Responsibilities

• Grow Sambatek’s public‑sector business by identifying opportunities and pursuing strategic pursuits.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with public‑sector clients, agencies, and partners.
• Lead client development and retention with a focus on an exceptional client experience.
• Develop and execute annual business development and marketing strategies for growth.
• Identify and pursue RFPs and project opportunities with proposals, scopes, and budgets.
• Collaborate across Sambatek’s practices to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients and expand Sambatek’s services.
• Lead projects for strategic public‑sector clients with hands‑on leadership.
• Establish project scopes and budgets and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide mentorship to project teams and share knowledge/resources.
• Partner with leadership to improve BD, client service, and delivery processes.
• Contribute to a positive culture focused on successful outcomes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
