Job summary

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to assist Vocational Rehabilitation professionals in Lakewood. You will greet visitors, answer phones, route inquiries, and manage calendars, mail, and basic office tasks to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates bring strong administrative skills, attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork. This is an in-office role with full-time hours and a union.

Qualifications

• 1 year training or 1 year experience in secretarial science or business office applications.
• OR equivalent of education and/or experience per Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
• Administrative Support/Services, Clerical & Data Entry, Computer Literacy, Customer Service, Scheduling.
• Strong Scheduling, Customer Focus, Listening, Attention to Detail, Teamwork and Verbal Communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for the office phone and front desk by greeting visitors and responding to routine inquiries.
• Process, distribute, scan, and upload incoming mail and handle outgoing mail.
• Assist participants with signing documents and scheduling intake meetings.
• Provide ongoing case service and programmatic support through correspondence and reminders.
• Run reports and assist with events and general office tasks.
