The Department also maintains four Township parks, public grounds, and five cemeteries, including the operation of two active cemeteries.

We are currently seeking a full-time Service Crew I employee to help maintain Township roads, parks, cemeteries, stormwater infrastructure, and facilities. This position provides hands‑on experience with a variety of equipment, including zero‑turn mowers, small dump trucks, trailers, and other light equipment and tools. Employees will develop practical skills in grounds maintenance, roadway and stormwater maintenance, cemetery operations, and other public works services while building experience in local government.
Starting Pay: $24.39 per hour ($50,731,20 annually)
A 3% increase will take effect January 1, 2027.

This position involves year-round outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires the operation of vehicles and heavy equipment.
The primary work schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Irregular hours will also be required, including nights, holidays, and weekends. Overtime, call‑in, and on‑call opportunities are available for snow and ice operations, emergency response, and seasonal work.
