Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs in Tallahassee seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to provide technical assistance, training coordination, and program support for the Florida Department of Health’s Child Care Food Programs.

You will develop training materials, evaluate contractor applications, conduct outreach, and serve as a liaison between state staff and program operators, reporting to the Operations and Management Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional experience in training, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
• Knowledge of federal and state Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations and child nutrition.
• Ability to interpret regulations, analyze processes, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel and physically work in office to perform job duties.
