Job summary

The City of Tucson’s Planning and Development Services invites applications for a Technology Systems and Business Analyst. The role focuses on assessing business needs, identifying technology solutions, and coordinating across departments, vendors, and users to improve service delivery and data management.

The candidate will maintain system configurations, support training, and assist with testing and deployment activities. A bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalency: any combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess departmental business needs and identify technology solutions to improve service delivery and data quality.
• Serve as primary business systems analyst for key department systems, including EPL and public-facing applications.
• Coordinate evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions across City departments.
• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and map future-state workflows.
