Job summary

Amazon in Puerto Rico seeks a Solutions Architect to design scalable architectures for public sector and education clients, delivering workshops and proof-of-concept engagements to modernize IT environments. You will work with business development and sales to accelerate adoption of AWS across agencies and institutions.

The role involves partnering with customers and partners, sharing best practices, and guiding technical strategies to reduce costs and improve citizen services in a dynamic cloud

Qualifications

• Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 3+ years of IT sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical reference in Puerto Rico, helping ensure customer success in fulfilling missions.
• Engage and educate new and existing partner ecosystems, supporting their technical implementation efforts.
• Help solution providers and government agencies with definition and implementation of technical and commercial strategies.
• Capture and share best practices knowledge among the AWS Solutions Architect community and SA team.
• Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
