Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive public sector and education cloud initiatives in Puerto Rico. You will design scalable architectures, conduct workshops, and lead well-architected reviews to modernize IT environments for state and local government, schools, and higher education.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 3+ years of IT sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical reference in Puerto Rico, helping to ensure customer success in fulfilling their missions through the creation and migration of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Engage and educate new and existing partner ecosystems, and support their technical implementation efforts.
• Help solution providers and government agencies with the definition and implementation of technical and commercial strategies that enable them to reduce costs and raise the bar for citizen services.
• Capture and share best practices knowledge among the global AWS Solutions Architect community, as well as your SA team.
• Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
