Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Cyber Incident Response within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.
• Public sector IT environments, procurement workflows, and compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, CMMC).
• Familiarity with multi-cloud technologies (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP) and public sector cloud security use cases.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for API integrations and security orchestration automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple agency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on Palo Alto Networks' security portfolio for Public Sector clients.
• Ensure solutions align with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, CMMC, and Zero Trust requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Public Sector Sales/Solutions Engineering teams to represent customer needs.
• Create knowledge base articles, deployment guides, and playbooks for scalable enablement.
• Perform architectural reviews and maturity assessments to maximize MTTR reduction in regulated networks.
