Job summary

OpenGov Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II for the Government App Builder team to oversee SaaS implementations for public-sector clients, focusing on grants management and financial workflows.

You will collaborate with finance and budget stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and sponsors to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery within budget while enhancing delivery methodologies for complex government solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in SaaS project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with software implementation processes and lifecycle.
• Proficiency with project management and CRM tools such as Rocketlane.

Responsibilities

• Manage scopes, timelines, budgets and deliverables for multiple government SaaS projects.
• Organize a portfolio of 4–9 month projects focused on procurement and compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact for day-to-day project matters.
• Track delivery metrics including status, budget health, compliance and risks.
• Coordinate scope, UAT, training, and go-live with analysts and consultants.
• Identify and elevate risks related to resources and scope.
• Coordinate user training and create gov-focused training artifacts.
• Support sales, SOW creation and customer discovery.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for training and meetings.
• Help refine GAB's delivery framework and templates.
