Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, safety, or operations analysis
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data analysis platforms

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments across city departments to identify operational, strategic, safety, and compliance risks.
• Analyze incident data, operational reports, and trends to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and propose improvements to reduce exposure.
• Support development of risk registers, heat maps, and risk‑tracking tools.
• Ensure city operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
