Job summary

Okta is seeking a Corporate Counsel to build and scale a global Public Sector practice. You will provide frontline legal counsel for critical regulated environments and partner with business and technology teams to guide product development and deployment.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of legal practice with U.S. Public Sector experience, a J.D., and active Bar admission, plus a technical undergraduate background.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of legal practice with at least 2 years in U.S. Public Sector or regulated products.
• Experience advising on federal/state/local regulations impacting tech.
• Strong ability to partner with product, engineering and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline legal counsel for regulated environments (FedRAMP, DoD SRG).
• Guide development and implementation of Public Sector solutions.
• Bridge legal with engineering, compliance, and sales teams.
• Support end-to-end regulatory processes from conception to launch.
