Job summary

The County of Volusia Tax Collector's Office is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to audit the quality of employee work products and verify compliance with Florida state agency rules. You will review DMV records, vehicle titling, birth certificates and related data, respond to inquiries, prepare audit reports, and analyze trends to improve procedures.

Travel between offices is required. The position reports to the Training Administrator and emphasizes accuracy, independence and strict

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited two-year college.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with a Tax Collector's Office as a Motor Services Specialist with preference given to lead/management experience.
Competency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Audit the quality of employee work products to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Respond to mail, telephone and electronic inquiries related to work.
Complete reports/responses to audit/QA inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Work with management to incorporate policy changes into workflows.
Maintain controls to ensure inventoried items are accounted for at all times.
Provide statistical analysis of completed work to identify patterns of compliance or non-compliance.
Attend training or seminars as needed by management.
