Job summary

IEHP is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Procurement – Supply Chain Management in California to lead public sector procurement and contract activities. You will guide the development and issuance of solicitations, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and manage amendments with a focus on governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional procurement and contracts experience in a procurement department or agency with solicitations, bid evaluations, contract negotiation and development of major agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; in lieu, a high school diploma plus three procurement training certifications within the past three years.
• CPM or CPSM certifications are desired; Lean training and Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes, contracts, and records management.
• Develop and issue solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, bids, qualifications) and manage evaluations.
• Lead contract negotiations, amendments, and contract management activities.
• Train staff on Lean methodologies and drive process improvement projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize supply chain performance.
