Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Platform team to own Elastic Cloud’s backend and orchestration products for the US public sector, including FedRAMP Moderate/High and IL5 environments. You will work with government agencies and federal partners to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product outcomes.

You will collaborate across Security, Compliance, Legal, and Sales to ensure compliant, AI-enhanced solutions that meet evolving regulations

Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
Experience with DoD IL4+/IL5 cloud environments or eligibility and federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, CJIS, or StateRAMP).
Understanding of cloud technologies and developer-focused products.
Experience building for government agencies, system integrators, or federal resellers.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities.
Autonomous, proactive communication in distributed teams.
Ego-free attitude and strong teamwork.
Empathy, transparency, and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

Define the vision and roadmap for Elastic's public sector offering from FedRAMP Moderate/High through IL5 and beyond.
Provide support for customers in FedRAMP environments.
Translate compliance requirements into product requirements and prioritize with Engineering.
Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal to maintain authorizations as product changes.
Work with Sales & Marketing on go-to-market, messaging, and enablement including federal partners.
