Job summary

Prince William County Government is seeking a Business Services Analyst (Payroll & TeleStaff Administrator) within the Compensation & Benefits Unit. This role supports payroll processing, timekeeping, and data analysis to inform department decisions.

You will use UKG TeleStaff Cloud, SSRS, and Power BI to audit records, resolve payroll inquiries, and maintain HR systems while delivering excellent customer service in a busy government environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of payroll, HR policy, and SQL experience.
• Experience maintaining UKG TeleStaff scheduling/payroll systems.
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL and GoogleSQL) and data analysis.
• Ability to develop and present data-driven insights via dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in payroll preparation and processing while ensuring policy compliance.
• Audit timekeeping records and resolve payroll-related inquiries with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain UKG TeleStaff Cloud and Mobius payroll modules; support system integrity.
• Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI to support operations.
