Job summary

Kinetic seeks a high-caliber Government Account Executive to drive infrastructure growth and digital transformation across the public sector. You will identify and close high-value fiber, voice, and data opportunities in schools, municipalities, and state agencies.

You will navigate government procurement, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and lead E-Rate initiatives to deliver connected solutions and modern classrooms. Strong relationships and consultative selling are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales in the SLED sector.
• Deep understanding of fiber-optic technology, Ethernet, VoIP and SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with government bidding processes and E-Rate funding.

Responsibilities

• Drive new fiber-optic and telecom contracts within SLED verticals (State, Local, Education).
• Manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes and navigate government vehicles.
• Lead outreach for K-12 accounts to maximize E-Rate opportunities.
• Build relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, City Managers, and Purchasing Departments.
• Consult with clients to design networking solutions (DIA, WAN/LAN, Hosted Voice, Security).
• Maintain a sales pipeline and territory plans to meet revenue targets.
