Job summary

The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) seeks a Business Analyst to guide technology-related business processes in alignment with strategic priorities. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, model processes, and drive continuous improvement from inception to implementation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Information Systems OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ work experience, preferably within IT, and five (5) years business analysis experience.
• Extensive experience with MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience in leading or managing projects is a plus.
• Experience implementing Organizational Change Management is a plus.
• Experience working in a large governmental environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the value of business processes and encourage their use.
• Lead requirements gathering and analyze work processes to uncover insights.
• Write use cases and assist in prioritization of features for systems.
• Coordinate with customers and OIT stakeholders to plan IT services and projects.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on IT projects, services, and client satisfaction.
