Job summary

Journey HVAC Specialist with Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) seeks an HVAC professional to service state buildings in Washington County and surrounding areas. The role is in-office/on-site at Salt Lake City area facilities.

Full-time with benefits; schedule includes on-call rotation and adherence to safety requirements. Responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, evacuating and recharging, and performing general facility maintenance

Qualifications

EPA refrigerant handling certification is required.
Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing complex HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain complex heating and air conditioning systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
Evacuate and recharge air conditioning systems.
Install parts, equipment, lines, hardware or software as needed.
Build, fabricate, or repair equipment from drawings or verbal instructions.
Use a variety of hand tools, electrical, mechanical, and automotive equipment.
Perform general facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping, and snow removal.
Enter data into computer systems and maintain logs.
Be available for on-call services on a rotating basis.
