Job summary

EY is seeking a senior consultant to join the Government & Public Sector PAS team, focusing on HR and organizational performance across federal and state agencies. You will design HR operating models, drive organizational change, and advise on large-scale transformations, collaborating with leaders to deliver measurable results.

You will engage with clients, manage multiple teams, and mentor staff while navigating security clearances and travel requirements to deliver high-impact solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and roughly ten years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree with emphasis on organizational change, management, or human capital/HR management.
• Ten years of experience in change management, organizational design, HR operating and delivery model, HR process efficiency, and policy; ability to prepare complex materials and present to executives.
• Experience in project/program management, organizational transformation, stakeholder engagement, and performance management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
• Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships and mentor staff.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% or more; ability to work at client/sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HR operating models and organizational structures for government clients.
• Improve HR process efficiency and manage people risks across transformations.
• Advise organizations on major transformations and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Deliver innovative, practical change management solutions and guide proposals and bids.
