Job summary

Sierra, a leading platform for customer-facing AI agents based in San Francisco, seeks a GTM and technical sales leader for the public sector. Own end-to-end pre-sales, articulate business value, and demo Sierra's platform to government buyers.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Agent Engineering to scale the public sector team, navigate FedRAMP processes, and guide strategy with executives across Federal and state governments.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer facing technical sales.
• 2+ years supporting U.S federal, state, or local government customers.
• Experience in demo building and presenting to customers.
• Ability to connect a prospect’s business problems to Sierra’s solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process for government institutions at the Federal and state level, including scoping use cases and demos.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to drive GTM and improve products for customer needs.
• Lead and support customers in early conversations with public sector buyers and executives.
• Partner with industry leadership to build and scale the public sector team and govern capture motions.
