Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting.
• Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting.
• Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting.
• One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Skill Application: Apply strong Excel abilities, communicate clearly, and maintain careful attention to detail.
• Provider Coordination: Work with service providers, program staff, and county financial offices to support efficient processes.
• Account Management: Create and organize revenue and expense accounts and maintain provider information in the accounting system.
• Audit Preparation: Prepare documents for auditor review and assist with presentations for various audits.
• Budget Monitoring: Track program and provider budgets and review expenses to support accurate financial oversight.
• Report Analysis: Analyze billed rates for services and review provider reports to identify trends and support accurate reporting.
