Job summary

The City and County of Denver seeks a Fiscal Administrator II – Accounting Services Supervisor to lead complex fiscal duties in the Clerk & Recorder's Office. You will oversee recording division finances, cash management, and internal controls while supervising a specialized accounting team.

This role requires a bachelor's in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience, with opportunities for advancement in a large municipal finance operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three years of professional level experience in fiscal operations.
• Education/Experience equivalency may substitute for required education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal operations for Recording Division and Public Trustee.
• Manage daily cashiering, receipts, banking, fees, revenues, and financial transactions.
• Direct general ledger management, account reconciliations, month-end close.
• Supervise fiscal staff, including training, performance management, and hiring.
• Develop revenue forecasts and monitor variances to guide budgets.
