Job summary
Albright College Institute of Nonprofit and Civic Administration (INCA) is a financial and operations consultant providing outsourced financial services for governmental entities and nonprofits. This part-time temporary consulting role supports municipalities and nonprofits, with on-site work and 1-3 days remote or on-site as client needs dictate.
Work under the Finance Manager of INCA to deliver efficient financial reporting and operations.
Qualifications
- GAAP and GASB knowledge
- Budget development and reporting
- Knowledge of municipal accounting laws and reporting requirements
- MS Office / Excel / Word proficiency
- Ability to manage complex projects and adapt to changing circumstances
- Continuous improvement of processes
- Ability to prepare concise reports and deliver presentations
- Ability to build relationships with management, agencies and service providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Honesty and integrity to maintain public trust
- PA Driver’s License current and valid
Responsibilities
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with implementing accounting systems
- Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Create General Ledger entries
- Enter budgeting forecasts
- Develop financial reporting
- Perform audit reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Collaborate with Finance Manager on priorities
- Collaborate onsite and remotely with client staff
