Job summary

Albright College Institute of Nonprofit and Civic Administration (INCA) is seeking a part-time, temporary consulting professional to support municipalities and nonprofits with financial operations, including GAAP, GASB, budgeting, and reporting. Role involves onsite and remote work depending on client needs, under supervision of the Finance Manager.

Requires government accounting experience and a PA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GASB standards is required.
• Experience with Governmental accounting or auditing is preferred.
• Experience with municipal accounting and finance reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with supporting financial operations for municipalities and nonprofits.
• Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Enter budgeting forecasts and provide supporting data.
• Perform bank reconciliations and audit reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager on prioritizing assignments.
• Collaborate onsite and remotely with client staff.
