Connection in Tampa, FL is seeking a Field Solution Architect to support Public Sector ERATE opportunities and guide customers through networking, storage, and cloud solutions. You will collaborate with account managers, vendor partners, and internal engineers to document needs and craft effective technical sales strategies.

The role emphasizes learning ERATE processes, leading demonstrations, and developing skills in converged infrastructure.

Qualifications

• ERATE programs knowledge required.
• Experience coordinating with vendor partners on ERATE opportunities.
• Understanding of routing and switching architecture.
• Ability to lead workshops and demonstrations.
• Experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
• Understanding Converged Infrastructure concepts and Cloud benefits.
• Familiarity with SDN/SDDC and cloud solutions.
• Proven B2B solution selling with account planning and up-sell/cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Support Public Sector networking opportunities by helping discover, qualify, and document customer requirements.
• Partner with Account Managers, Sales teams, vendor partners, and internal technical resources to develop solutions.
• Assist with networking-focused recommendations involving switching, routing, wireless, security, and related infrastructure.
• Ask discovery questions to understand customer environments, timelines, procurement, funding, and outcomes.
• Participate in sales calls, opportunity reviews, and customer planning discussions.
• Learn public sector and ERATE sales cycles, including documentation expectations and funding considerations.
• Pursue vendor training and certifications; engage in internal learning paths for skill development.
• Support customer-facing and internal events as a technical sales-support and enablement resource.
