Connection is seeking a motivated Field Solution Architect to support Public Sector E-rate opportunities in the Tampa, FL area. You’ll work with Account Managers and vendors to understand needs, document requirements, and shape solution recommendations across networking, storage, and cloud domains.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERATE programs and policies.
• Ability to manage services partners for ERATE opportunities.
• Understanding of routing and switching architectures from leading manufacturers.
• Ability to lead workshops and demonstrations.
• Experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
• Knowledge of Converged Infrastructure and Cloud solutions.
• Verifiably successful B2B solutions selling with account planning and upsell/cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Support Public Sector networking opportunities by helping discover, qualify, and document customer requirements.
• Partner with Account Managers, Sales teams, vendor partners, and internal technical resources to support conversations and solution development.
• Assist with networking-focused recommendations involving switching, routing, wireless, security, and related infrastructure.
• Ask thoughtful discovery questions to understand environments, timelines, procurement and funding.
• Participate in sales calls, opportunity reviews, and customer planning discussions.
• Learn ERATE sales cycles, documentation expectations, and customer funding considerations.
• Pursue vendor training and internal learning paths to develop skills.
• Support customer-facing and internal events as a technical sales-support resource.
