Job summary

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Building Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of its facilities. Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Facilities Management or related field OR equivalent experience.
• Three+ years in HVAC, electrical, plumbing maintenance or building maintenance/management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize failures and extend asset life.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prioritize maintenance projects based on budget constraints.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for fires, floods, and power outages.
• Coordinate with emergency services and occupants during emergencies.
• Perform other related duties as required.
