Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive focused on Defence, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and Space Agencies in India. You will build trusted relationships with CXOs and senior government officials, leading the end-to-end sales cycle and shaping solutions across Elastic’s Search, Observability, Security, SIEM, AI, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid Public Sector sales experience with a proven track record of revenue growth across Defence, MHA, Space and related agencies.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes including tenders, frameworks, and long sales cycles.
• Ability to engage with senior leaders in government, defence, security, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders in Defence, MHA, Space and security organisations.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans identifying whitespace and growth across key government accounts.
• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including PoCs, negotiations, procurement and contracting.
• Drive pipeline and revenue performance with disciplined CRM, forecasts and target attainment.
• Coordinate with internal teams and partners to run executive briefings, proposals and solutions for government customers.
