Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a business/analytics/IT related field is required.
• Four or more years of directly related professional experience in business analysis, performance management, or data analytics.
• Valid Texas driver’s license (Class C) at date of hire.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau; SQL and data visualization knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and submission.
• Maintain definitions, formulas, sources, owners, targets, and reporting rules.
• Develop measures aligned with Bureau priorities and compliance requirements.
• Analyze service demand, assignments, backlogs, and seasonal trends.
• Develop workload models and staffing scenarios for equitable assignments.
• Document workflows, data gaps, and system requirements with stakeholders.
• Establish data definitions, ownership, and validation standards.
• Collect and analyze inspection, permitting, and customer-service data.
• Create dashboards and presentations to explain findings and context.
• Support leadership decisions, budgeting, and audits.
• Coordinate process improvements to reduce delays and errors.
• Develop procedures, job aids, and implementation plans.
