Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in seismology or construction mining; degree may substitute year-for-year.
• Five years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Five years of experience managing contracts.
• Five years of experience analyzing statistical data.
• Five years of experience using MFMP and/or state-issued credit card.
• Five years of experience with web-based CMS.
• Five years of experience in data collection and analysis.
• Certified Florida Contract Manager within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, evaluate, and process construction mining complaints and applications to determine licensure eligibility.
• Maintain construction material mining complaint website and related CMS content.
• Act as liaison between the Bureau and interdepartmental entities.
• Review and approve program purchase requests and prepare monthly statistics reports.
• Develop procedures and guidelines for construction mining within the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
• Develop rules and legislation for construction mining within the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
