City of Grand Rapids seeks a Contract Administrator to monitor and administer contracts between contractors, consultants, and service agencies and the Engineering Department. The role provides technical assistance, monitors performance, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities include bid solicitations, negotiations, contract drafts and amendments, change orders, and grant-related reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration or related field.
• At least one year of professional work experience in Contract Administration or related work.
• Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Mansioni

• Monitors project/program financial and performance reporting and conducts monitoring reviews.
• Participates in the preparation of bid solicitations and requests for proposals; reviews proposals and monitors funding levels.
• Provides technical assistance to contract agencies or contractors; ensures contract compliance.
• Maintains records and prepares reports related to contracts and grants.
• Investigates complaints and participates in trainings as needed.

Formazione
