Google is hiring a Customer Engineer to support Google Cloud and GenAI initiatives for state and local government and education customers in the United States. You will collaborate with sales, lead technical briefings, and help design AI-enabled architectures that meet public sector needs.

Responsibilities include prototyping AI-powered workflows, engaging government leaders, and guiding customers through secure cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to uncover Google Cloud and AI-first opportunities and address technical blockers.
• Own the technical relationship with State and Local Government customers, leading immersive product briefings.
• Demonstrate and prototype intelligent integrations with autonomous AI agents and workflows.
• Design AI-optimized enterprise architectures and secure data infrastructure foundations.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events to advocate Google Public Sector goals.
